Founded in 1975, Audreys Books Ltd. actually traces its roots directly back to the bookstores founded by Mel Hurtig in the mid-fifties. Today the two-level bookstore features a large collection of all kinds of books and hosts numerous readings and literary events year-round, with a special emphases on Canadian writers.
